Edinburgh Seed Network and FCCT got together in Harrison park on April 22nd between 11am – 1pm.
We welcomed people for a seed swap and some free seeds, to learn about growing food and saving seeds in the city, what you can start growing now and sow some seeds with us.
At 12pm folk were invited to a short wander to explore what is growing in your local park, find out what you might forage, what you can learn from the plants there and how you can support your local green space.
Walking and foraging in the park reveals there is a lot growing here!
Harrison Park was busy all day and many cyclists visited our stall who were joining in the Pedal on Parliament and many others visited as they were on a walk or going to the preloved sale at Polwarth Church.
