 Polwarth Canal boat
The All Aboard canal boat is also now a warm and welcoming space, with dedicated trips taking place every Monday from 10:30am to 4pm. Come along for some time on the canal, hot food and drinks, a chat with friends, or simply to take in the views, all within a warm and cosy space. Details of the various stops it will be making, along with timings, can be found the All Aboard page of People Know How’s website here.

WARM SPACE: Along with our neighbouring churches, we are offering people struggling to heat their homes a warm space.  Polwarth Church open on Friday mornings from 9.30am until 12.30pm in the Small Hall.

There are very many excellent activities at North Merchiston Club for all ages, here are a few on offer. The over 50 fitness is a fab new group and includes refreshments in the cafe. Soft play and ASN soft play. Musical Memories and chess to name a few. www.northmerchiston.co.uk

Places to have a coffee …

THE CAFÉ is open 10.30am until 1pm every Tuesday in the Drennan Hall, Polwarth Church.  Come along and enjoy a range of teas, filter coffee, sweet treats, and soup. We are always looking for more volunteers to help out – please contact Sheila Thomson, Wellbeing Director, for more information.

Central Church , Cafe open Mon -Tues 10am -4pm

Tuesdays 10am -1pm. Drop-in Pillar Hall, Barclay Viewforth Church.

CANAL SHED: We meet weekly on Wednesdays 10 am – 12 noon in the Drennan Hall, Polwarth Church where refreshments are always available. The focus 3rd May will be creative crafts, another chapter with the Book Group and gardening. Do join us. More about the Canal Shed download the May programme.

SCRABBLE CLUB: meets each Tuesday afternoon in the Small Hall, Polwarth Church from 1.30pm. New members would be warmly welcomed.

Fountainbridge Library is always a great place to visit…
