FAQs
Do I need to attend all the events? no, each Inspiration event is a stand alone event.
How long is the walk? About 3 miles on good surfaces
Where are we walking to? We plan to walk from Polwarth towards Lochrin Basin and back along the towpath depending on conditions on the day.
Are there toilets on the route? There are toilets at Polwarth Parish Church.
Do I need to bring special equipment? Dress for the weather, bring a notebook and pencil or other device for making notes, hot drinks and some snacks provided, you are welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy after our walk/ on our cruise.
Do I need to read out what I have written? any writing or sharing of what you write is completely optional.
Can I bring my dog? Assistance dogs are welcome. This walk is in primarily aimed at humans and many dog owners prefer to leave their dogs at home so they can concentrate on the activity and the interactions with other humans. Some group members are nervous of dogs and so a well-behaved dog on the lead could attend the walk (not the cruise) if they are able to respect this, please get in touch if you wish to discuss further.
