This year, the Raft Race is back with a twist! It’s now a standalone event on Sat 23rd August, featuring barge trips and even more watery fun.
Spectators are very much welcomed on the towpath between the Leamington Liftbridge and the Lochrin Basin. Timings to be announced nearer the time, but activities will run approximately 12-5pm
🎶 The racing will happen with a background of DJ sounds, and from 3-5pm, we will be entertained with songs and banter from the fantastic Andy Chung 🎶
🌿 Our Fountainbridge Canalside Greenspace Group will be offering some free activities on Fountainbridge Green – just next to where the barge trips depart 🌿
🍕 If you are feeling peckish, there are a number of local cafes serving food and drinks, and we are excited to have Outta Space Pizza at Fountainbridge Green too 🍕
💦 45 minute cruises on wide-beam barges are also available throughout the afternoon. Pre-book below to avoid disappointment! 💦
