You are invited to apply for a FREE place on one of our Taster Sessions using this form (form is now turned off). You will be notified by email if your application has been successful or if you are on the waiting list. Any remaining spaces will be allocated on the day.

Emily Ronaldson is a Qualified and experienced Nordic Walking Instructor who has groups around Edinburgh.
About the hosts
Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust has many activities including a weekly walking group for 3 years. We always welcome new walkers on. Thursday at 10am for about an hour. https://www.fcct.scot/health-walks/
This Nordic Walking Taster is an opportunity to meet new walkers in the area and to try out something new together.

FAQs
How long is the walk? Under 3 miles on grass and other surfaces
Where are we walking to? In and around Harrison Park West and East.
Do I need to bring special equipment? Dress for the weather, wear shoes that are good for walking on grass.
Are there toilets on the route? Sorry, there are no toilets in our local park. If you are not near home you may wish to visit one of our local cafes as a customer and use the customer toilets.
Can I bring my dog? Assistance dogs and well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome at Pumpkins in the Park When Nordic walking it will not be possible to use poles and control a dog on a lead, so please make other arrangements for your dog.
