About the hosts

Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust has many activities including a weekly walking group for 3 years.  We always welcome new walkers on. Thursday at 10am for about an hour.  https://www.fcct.scot/health-walks/

This Buggy Walk is an opportunity to meet other walkers with young children in the area.

FAQs

How long is the walk? Under 3 miles on wide smooth surfaces

Where are we walking to?   From Fountainbridge Library through Dalry Park and the Union Canal to Roseburn link Path.  A there and back walk. or a shorter loop along the union Canal and around the canal basins depending on condition on the day.

Do I need to bring special equipment? Dress for the weather, wear shoes that are good for walking.

Are there toilets on the route? There are toilets and baby change facilities at Fountainbridge Library.

Can I bring my dog? Assistance dogs are welcome on a buggy walk.

Does my baby need to be in a buggy? bumps and babies in carriers all welcome, toddlers may get out of buggy at some parts of the walk but recommended to stay in buggy for any road crossings.
