12.30-3.30 All-age Nature Crafting (drop in) drop-in information, all-age nature crafting activity indoors at North Merchiston Club room 22, with natural materials guided by Margon from the Green Team and volunteers from the Canalside Greenspace Group.
12.30-1.45 pm Greenspace volunteering activity (gather at 12.30 to get tools)
Practical tasks outdoors with our Canalside Greenspace Group all equipment and training provided. Meet up at North Merchiston Club for a 12.30 start. Bring warm layers and footwear that is warm on wet grass. We are aiming to finish while the Cafe 48 is still open so we can warm up and refresh afterwards.
2.15-3.15pm. weather, folklore, creativity and Plant discovery
Meet at North Merchiston Club and join Hannah Brazil our Community Gardener and Greenspace Group Facilitator to discover the seasonal celebration of Imbolc and discover the first signs of spring plants and animals in and around Harrison Park. Our gentle walks take place on good paths and level surfaces, suitable for buggies and all-ages, There may be stops on the way for discovery and creativity, please dress warmly enough for sitting.
9am-2.30pm Café 48 will be open for lunches and delicious treats at very reasonable prices.

The Canalside Greenspace group meet weekly on Tuesdays to explore and improve our local green spaces.

We operate from our community centre at Watson Crescent.
