Connect with others in the park by sharing a picnic
Some food and goodies and picnic blankets provided – bring some of your favourite things too!
Join Edinburgh Printmakers artists for a walk on the Union Canal to explore nature using watercolours and practice creative mindfulness
Beginning at Harrison Park, we will leisurely walk along the towpath of the Union Canal, practising mindfulness as we observe the patterns in light and shadows, natural and manmade forms together. We will stop along the towpath by Boroughmuir high school and the Leamington Lift Bridge and engage in guided creative activities of watercolour sketches to map our observations of the changes in our green environment as spring arrives in Edinburgh. All materials will be provided, but you can also bring your own, and all creative abilities are welcome.

Or after your picnic, why not stay in the park and a take part in some of the free craft and greenspace activities.
